Windows Vista Service Pack 1

Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista has been released. It is said to address some performance and reliability issues. It was available initially as a separate download from the Microsoft site but is now included in Vista's automatic updates. Many of the first to sample SP1 found there PCs were stuck in an endless reboot cycle. An additional update that is required to be installed prior to SP1 being installed has corrected this problem for many. SP1 will be installed automatically when Vista updates its self automatically. There is a tool for those wishing to block the update untill they are ready to install it, it can be downloaded from Microsofts site here.
